The highly anticipated Tsunami Mérida Comic Con 2025 is officially set for September 13 and 14 at the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center, bringing together anime, K-pop, comic, and video game fans for two unforgettable days.
International star Frankie Muniz, best known for his role in Malcolm in the Middle and his career in professional motorsports, will be one of the convention’s top attractions, giving fans in Yucatán a chance to meet him in person.
Anime enthusiasts will also enjoy a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba showcase featuring popular voice actors like Iván Bastidas (Tanjiro Kamado), Uraz Huerta (Inosuke Hashibira), and Cristina Hernández (Shinobu Kocho), who will bring the series’ most iconic characters to life.
The event will highlight a Cosplay Fraternity Zone with 18 invited cosplayers from across Mexico, as well as contests with cash prizes up to $5,000 pesos. Visitors will also find over 200 exhibitors offering anime, manga, K-pop, collectibles, Sanrio products, and Asian cuisine.
Tickets are available at Redicom Gran Plaza, Good Vibes Altabrisa, and on-site during the event.
With its 2025 edition, Tsunami Mérida Comic Con reaffirms itself as one of the most important pop culture events in southeast Mexico, delivering an immersive experience for fans of all ages.
