The Caribbean Grill Festival 2026 is getting ready to turn Puerto Morelos into a meeting point for food lovers and travelers looking for a different experience in the Mexican Caribbean.
For two days, visitors will be able to enjoy grilled specialties, live music, culinary activities and entertainment in a seaside setting.
Daniel Gutiérrez will headline the festival
One of the main attractions of this year’s edition will be Daniel Gutiérrez, singer and guitarist known as the vocalist of Mexican rock band La Gusana Ciega.
Gutiérrez will bring his Story Teller performance to Puerto Morelos on Saturday, October 24, combining live music and stories behind the songs.
His appearance will be one of the highlights of a weekend that will also feature local and emerging artists, DJs and other musical performances.
A weekend for barbecue lovers
Food will once again be at the heart of the festival.
Visitors will find different exhibitors serving grilled meats, seafood and other specialties prepared over the fire, along with beverages and additional culinary options.
The program will include 18 culinary experiences, with activities such as:
- Grill classes and masterclasses
- Wine tastings
- Craft beer tastings
- Chocolate experiences
- Special culinary activities
Some experiences will be included with admission, while others will require an additional fee and have limited capacity.
More than food
The Caribbean Grill Festival is designed as a full weekend experience rather than simply a food event.
Along with the barbecue and culinary activities, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, contests, brand activations, prizes and activities for different audiences.
The event will also feature a space dedicated to local entrepreneurs and artisans.
A family-friendly event in the Mexican Caribbean
Families traveling through the Riviera Maya can also include the festival in their October plans.
Children under 12 years old will have free admission, allowing families to enjoy the food, music and activities together.
The location at Ventana al Mar and Parque Fundadores also places the festival within one of Puerto Morelos’ most recognizable seaside areas.
A festival with a social purpose
The 2026 edition will once again include a charitable component.
For the second consecutive year, the festival will participate in a fundraising initiative with DIF Quintana Roo, with a contribution to be made after the event according to the results of the edition.

General admission is priced at $200 MXN for adults during the regular advance-sale period.
A two-day pass costs $350 MXN, while children under 12 enter free.
