The Alex Ubago in Cancun concert has been officially canceled, according to a statement released by promoter ProEventos. The show, part of the “¿Qué pides tú?” 25th anniversary tour, was scheduled for May 10 at Plaza de Toros Cancun.
Organizers said the cancellation is due to reasons beyond the control of the artist, the venue, and the promoter, without providing further details. The update has disappointed fans who were expecting the Spanish singer’s return to the city.
With this announcement, ProEventos records its second cancellation in Cancun in 2026, after the March 22 show by Mike Erentxun, former member of Duncan Dhu, was also called off at the same venue.
In the statement, organizers confirmed that ticket holders can request refunds directly through TicketPass, where instructions will be provided to complete the process. They also apologized for the inconvenience and thanked fans for their understanding.
