Visitors looking for an exciting night out in Cancún can add a major Mexican wrestling event to their travel plans. AAA Lucha Libre will take place at Plaza de Toros Cancún on August 22, following a new venue change announced by the organizers.
The event was originally scheduled for April 25 and was later postponed to August 22 at Poliforum Cancún. Organizers have now confirmed that the show will move to Plaza de Toros Cancún and feature a renewed wrestling card.
Fans who already purchased tickets for the Poliforum Cancún event do not need to exchange them. All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new venue.
The main event will feature Psycho Clown, Murder Clown and Dave The Clown facing Pagano, Mecha Wolf and a surprise wrestler in one of the most anticipated matches of the night.
The updated lineup also includes La Catalina and Shani against Hiedra and Flammer, while fan favorites Mr. Iguana and Mini Vikingo will team up with Valentino to battle Abismo Negro Jr., Taurus and Los Vipers Histeria.
The evening will also feature several additional matches, including a contest for the Cancún Universal Championship, bringing together local and national wrestling talent.
With colorful masks, aerial moves and the electric atmosphere that defines Mexican lucha libre, the event offers tourists a chance to experience one of Mexico’s most iconic forms of live entertainment during their stay in Cancún.
