Macarena Achaga and Alejandro Speitzer are stepping into the spotlight as the faces of the 2026 edition of Volvo Fashion Week Mexico, taking place in Mexico City from October 12 to 17, 2026.
The two Mexican actors and Volvo Car Mexico ambassadors headline the event’s official campaign, bringing together fashion, contemporary design and automotive culture in a visual concept centered on personal expression and modern style.
Their participation places the actors at the heart of a campaign that connects Volvo’s Scandinavian design philosophy with the creativity of Mexico’s fashion scene.
Macarena Achaga and Alejandro Speitzer join Volvo Fashion Week
Achaga and Speitzer appear alongside several Volvo models featured throughout the campaign, including the Volvo EX40, XC60 and XC90.
Each vehicle contributes a different dimension to the campaign. The fully electric EX40 represents Volvo’s approach to electric mobility, while the XC60 combines technology, comfort and design. The XC90 brings a larger presence with its spacious interior, distinctive styling and focus on safety.
The campaign reflects Volvo’s effort to connect automotive design with other creative disciplines, using fashion as a platform for individual expression and emerging talent.
The Volvo EX90, the brand’s fully electric SUV with seating for up to seven people, will also be part of the Volvo Fashion Week Mexico experience. The model incorporates technology focused on safety, connectivity and driver assistance.
When is Volvo Fashion Week Mexico 2026?
The 2026 edition of Volvo Fashion Week Mexico will take place October 12–17 in Mexico City, bringing together designers, brands, creatives and fashion industry professionals.
Events will be hosted at Casa Club and Maravilla Studios, which will serve as venues for runway presentations, experiences and industry gatherings throughout the week.
Beyond the celebrity campaign, the event aims to provide Mexican designers and creatives with a platform to showcase their work to industry professionals, media outlets and new audiences.
According to Raymundo Cavazos, CEO of Volvo Car Mexico, the partnership reflects the automaker’s interest in connecting design, innovation and sustainability with the work of a new generation of Mexican creators.
